Fight Overview: UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture meets future boxing Hall of Famer James Toney in the highest profile case of a professional boxer competing in Mixed Martial Arts. Conventional wisdom is that Toney will knock out Couture if he hits him, and Couture will make Toney look foolish if it goes to the ground.

Toney's Strengths: Very obviously, Toney has the best "pure boxing" of anyone ever to compete in Mixed Martial Arts.

Toney's Weaknesses: He is old, he is not in great shape, he is way past his physical prime, he has never wrestled or grappled until extremely recently, and he is not even a particularly powerful puncher despite his technical prowess.

Couture's Strengths: He will easily destroy Toney at every single thing except boxing.

Couture's Weaknesses: His boxing is not very good and age has made his chin suspect.

The Verdict: While Toney clearly has a chance based on his handspeed and accuracy, the chances seem exceedingly low that he will be able to get enough damage done before Couture pins him against the fence, bruises him up with his trademark dirty boxing on the fence, trips him, and submits him.
