PAT BARRY  (-250) vs. JOEY BELTRAN  (+190)

Fight Overview:  Two dangerous strikers go at it as kickboxer Pat Barry will go toe to toe with slugger Joey Beltran in the Heavyweight division.  Both of these guys have lights out power and a willingness to trade, so this should be a violent and competitive affair.

Beltran’s Strengths:  Beltran actually has decent wrestling, but his best work is definitely done letting his hands go.  He has a ton of power and good accuracy, not to mention a stern chin that lets him take shots to dole them out.

Beltran’s Weaknesses:  His striking is one-dimensional, as he is basically just a power puncher.

Barry’s Strengths:  Barry has great boxing with tremendous power as well, but he also has some of the most formidable leg and body kicks in the division, which helps him wear opponents down early so he can pounce on them.

Barry’s Weaknesses:  He is giving up a ton of experience to Beltran and probably has less one-punch knockout power as well.

The Verdict:  I think Barry’s versatility is going to make the difference in this one.  Both guys have dangerous power punching, but Barry’s ability to work over the legs and body with low kicks is pretty much unparalleled in the division.  Barry’s kicks are either going to force Beltran to fight more defensively or wear out his power and movement, and either result is fatal for Beltran.  Barry by T/KO.
