UFC 127 – Kyle Noke vs. Chris Camozzi Prediction

KYLE NOKE vs. CHRIS CAMOZZI

Fight Overview:  Two Ultimate Fighter Season 11 also-rans go at it to prove they belong in the UFC.  Both guys are riding small win streaks and both have well-rounded games, so this should be a good one.

Noke’s Strengths:  Noke has solid boxing with good punching power and an excellent ground game.  He is a constant threat to finish with submissions and has good sweeps, escapes, and positioning.

Noke’s Weaknesses:  He is not a dangerous wrestler and does not work off his back nearly as well as he does from top position.

Camozzi’s Strengths:  Camozzi is also very versatile, with good boxing, a great chin, and very effective submissions.

Camozzi’s Weaknesses:  His biggest strength is his ground game, which plays right into Noke’s strengths, and he isn’t the kind of dominant wrestler or striker who can exploit the holes in Noke’s game.

The Verdict:  I think Noke is just the better fighter.  He has more experience, he is more dangerous on the ground, and he is probably a better technical boxer.  I think this fight will wind up on the mat one way or the other, and when it does, Noke will be in control.  Noke by submission.
